INTRODUCTION
Verdikt is a trustless AI freelance settlement layer built on Base L2 using the ERC-8183 standard. The conventional freelance economy is riddled with trust issues: clients fear providers won't deliver, and providers fear clients won't pay. Platform monopolies extract massive fees (up to 20%) while acting as biased arbiters in disputes.
To solve this, Verdikt introduces a decentralized, escrow-first protocol. Every job requires the budget to be locked in a smart contract. Once a provider submits the result, the evaluation is entirely managed by decentralized DAO multisigs or automated oracles. If the conditions are met, payment moves trustlessly.
Unlike traditional platforms, Verdikt takes a minimal 2.5% fee to sustain the network and evaluator node operations. There are no subjective judgments from centralized admins; code evaluates, and the contract settles.
